The fashion industry is very volatile. It changes all the time. Right from the winter down to the summer periods the fashion trend is bound to change. Oftentimes what was obtainable the previous year is not what will be the case the following year. However for this year 2009 spring and summer, here are the latest fashion trends you need to be aware of.

- Back to the Old time trend
In this spring/summer period especially for those of in the northern hemisphere, you will clearly see a reversal to the old fashion trends of the olden days. Right from the recent fashion shows displayed in various media houses, you will see models walking down the runway in their catwalk style wearing loose knitted sweaters and embroidered skirts. This used to be the case in the olden days.

- Outburst of brighter colors
In this year’s summer which has already started in some regions, there is the outburst of unusual colors in almost all the fashion wears. The bright colors are already dominating. Among the bright colors, red and blue are already casing waves especially in the African continents. In Nigeria for instance, the biggest alcoholic producing company, The Nigeria Breweries are organizing an all out Blue color event where every fashion for occasion will be on blue color to celebrate the golden jubilee of one of their products.
